Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate is a sodium salt comprised of ester and alcohol compounds sourced from vegetable oils such as Olive and Coconut oils. These ester and alcohol compounds allow dispersion of oil into water and prevent separation of the oil and water phases of the product. Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate can be used as an emulsifying agent, a conditioner, and as a mild cleansing agent.
